Rules
- 4 players, 106 tiles (4 colours × 1-13 × 2 + 2 fake okeys). The tiles are shuffled randomly (cryptographically). The starter gets 22 tiles, the others 21. The tile one higher than the indicator (same colour) is the “okey” and works as a joker; the fake okey (★) stands for the okey tile itself.
- On your turn you draw from the pile or take the tile discarded by the player on your left, then discard one. You may take the discard whether or not you have opened (so you can check your count); a taken tile must be laid on the table the same turn; if you cannot, you put it back on the left and draw from the pile. You cannot throw the taken tile into your own discards.
- Set: 3-4 tiles of the same number in different colours. Run: at least 3 consecutive tiles of one colour (1 may follow 13; 13-1-2 is not allowed). Opening: the pers must be worth at least 101 (the okey counts as the tile it stands for) or at least 5 pairs. In a “stacking” room the next opener must beat the previous opener by at least 1 (points, or pairs when opening with pairs).
- After opening you can lay new pers, add tiles to pers on the table and swap the real tile for an okey in a per (taking the okey). Players who opened with pairs can only lay more pairs.
- To finish you lay everything down and discard the last tile. Penalties for wrong moves (+101): discarding the okey, discarding a tile that could be added, trying to open without reaching the limit.
- Scoring (lower is better): the winner gets −101, players who did not open get 202, players who opened get the sum of their remaining tiles (okey 50). Finishing with the okey, with pairs or straight from the hand (never having laid anything before) doubles the scores. When the last tile of the pile is drawn, that player’s discard ends the round (a draw) and the tile on the left can no longer be taken.
